Funny, cute, warm, sweet and did I say funny? That’s my Laura! From the moment I met her all the way through her festive November wedding at the Sheraton in Portsmouth, NH she has been so much fun to work with. And holy crap does she look GORGEOUS in her classic wedding gown! It wasn’t what she originally was looking for when she envisioned her wedding dress, but I must say that I think it was the most fantastic choice for her.
And I hadn’t had the chance to meet Chris until the day of the wedding since the two of them were doing all of their planning from their home in New York City and had to split up the wedding duties, but I kept a mental note that Laura said he looooves a Screwdriver cocktail so I made that mission number one to grab one of those from the bar before I headed up to the room to meet him and the guys for the first time. And I think it worked because we got along swimmingly after I showed him the prize I brought him! :) His love for Laura is so crystal clear, there is no question as to whether this man adores his new wife. Both of them were tearing up as they saw each other for the first time and then there were super sweet tears as their handwritten vows were said; without a doubt, everyone could feel the love in the room.
Oscar + I were so pleased to be a part of this wonderful day and I am so happy I got to see the work of Hair That Moves who did the beautiful hair styles for the girls (I have heard so much wonderful goodness about owner, Lena, so it was exciting to see her work in action!) and the awesome ladies at my favorite bridal salon, Madeleine’s Daughter helped Laura pick her gorgeous gown, veil, and sash – perfection!
