Jenn + Joe’s wedding – what a night! They celebrated in style with a wedding at the gorgeous Flag Hill Winery where the grounds make for some amazing photo opportunities and man-oh-man did we take full advantage of that.
We had overcast skies all the way up to the afternoon and then right after our their sweet first look was complete, the skies broke and rain began to fall. Jenn had her heart set on formal photos overlooking the winery so when the rain started to pick up, we took cover under the giant trees which allowed us to still get pictures of everyone outside. Yup, those wedding party pictures are in the rain. Can’t tell, can you?! The tree was really that awesome.
And as the rain picked up even more we all thought we’d have to move inside for the ceremony – but Jenn wondered aloud if the guests could all come closer to the arbor they were going to be married under and stand safely out of the rain under the tree – so that’s exactly what we did. The rain poured all around us but the leaves of the tree provided us all with just the right amount of protection from the storm – in those ceremony pictures, it is indeed raining!
As the night went on, the skies cleared up and sun poured in and we found tons of great opportunities for photos. Jenn is a huge lover of photography so she set aside a ton of time for us to take pictures throughout the night which means we got a lot of great shots in all kinds of light and moods. I love that they will have a bunch of pictures to remember their awesome wedding with! And I must add that Joe was wary about having his picture taken, but I won him over with my star personality (haaahaha) and he actually really started enjoying the pictures! I was so happy that he was down to do everything Jenn and I asked him to join us on. Thank you, Joe!!
It was a fun night full of great memories and there was an amazing team who all worked together to make it happen. I hope to work with this crew many many times in the future.

To anyone needing an AMAZING band with talent all over the place, look into these guys! Eye 2 Eye were incredible and kept the dance floor moving all night. I couldn’t stop telling them how much I loved their music!
And then this happened! Jenn singing 90’s R&B along with the band and knowing EVERY. SINGLE. LYRIC. IT WAS AWESOME! She’s pretty damn cool.
