The house where he grew up sits on the rocky coast of Kennebunkport, Maine and just a couple hundred feet of grass separates the home’s front door from the deep blue Atlantic ocean. He spent childhood years with his brothers and sisters playing in the windy summer heat and she spent them way down in in her beloved Texas with a family that tugs at her heart. Together they live in Los Angeles living a busy city life but when it came down to their wedding, they knew they wanted to take it back to their roots so an intimate wedding was planned with a loving and casual vibe on the grounds of his family home.
After starting the day at David’s KTP with Amanda and her family, we headed over to his family home where they surrounded themselves by just the closest of the close family and they quietly said their “I do’s” to one another on the front lawn. Everyone was in such great spirits and it was one of the most relaxing and loving celebrations. Their families not only showed an abundance of love for one another, but even I felt like a special additional family member with this crew! It’s so clear where Amanda and Sean get their caring and gentle nature from – their strong loving family has created some truly amazing people!
After the marriage was sealed we wandered across the street for some photos on the water and then I returned them back to their families to enjoy the perfect blue skies and their lobster bake.
I’m so thankful Amanda and Sean invited me to photograph their beautiful day, I adore intimate weddings where love is that strong focus of the day, and theirs was a shining example of that. Amanda and Sean, I wish you two all the very best!
