I’ve known Cat for quite sometime now, she’s the smiling face at our Veterinarian’s office that I always look forward to seeing because of her warm demeanor, love of animals and gentle nature for those who come into the office worried about their furry children. So when she reached out to me about photographing her September wedding, I was instantly excited to get to work with her and grow our acquaintance status into a friendship one! Even if I was also a little nervous to be “performing” in front of our Vet who would be a guest and is someone Oscar and I call a superhero; Dr. Rennie is awesome!
After our first meeting in the cold month of February where I finally met her fiancé Kim, I knew this day was going to be a fun one! Cat and Kim took so much care into planning their day and I have to say that I have never been at a wedding where the day was so openly shared with their loved ones. From doing a surprise bouquet and garter presentation for two of the people in their wedding party who were newly engaged themselves all the way to having a SECOND cake cutting for the best man whose birthday was the following day (yes, they actually bought him a cake and presented it to him on their own wedding day!), they continually showered their family and friends with love from all angles.
And can I just say the hotel rooms they got ready in were the tidiest ever? Because they were! Oscar and I actually asked if they had slept there the night before because the rooms looked perfect haha! Picture time was very easy at the hotel in the morning for sure :)
It was a wonderful day tucked away in the woods of New Hampshire at a park that meant a great deal to them as a couple; and the atmosphere was perfectly loving and generous which is how I would describe these two wonderful girls themselves.
Congratualtions, Cat and Kim, I am so lucky to now call you two of my friends. I wish you all the best!

Auntie Cat was so good to me and my kitties when I needed her, and it is SO BEAUTIFUL to see her and Kim so happy! I have their picture up on my refrigerator and I smile all the time. Way to be happy, Auntie Catherine! Love from Cindi, Candy, Mummy & Georgie xox
