Molly + Brad Stonegate Vineyard Elopement // Gilford, NH Lakes Region Wedding Photographer

Molly + Brad wanted an intimate wedding that would remind them of their travels to the vineyards of Italy and after much searching, they found the perfect location that would allow them to just have their closest family and friends around them…and provide lots of delicious wine afterwards! Stonegate Vineyard is up in the lakes region of New Hampshire and this is their last year of having the vineyard open to the public; it’s a beautiful little location and it was perfect for Molly and Brad’s wedding day!

Prior to setting a time for the wedding to take place, the couple emailed ME asking what time would make for the best pictures! Eee, that’s a photographer’s dream to be asked this! I told them all about the golden hour right before sunset and as you can see below, especially when the light is behind Molly during the ceremony, the day did not let us down! We had perfect weather to go with their perfect location.

Molly’s sister sang a couple of beautiful songs throughout their ceremony, they had a ring warming where even little Eva joined in on this when Brad’s father placed the rings on her back as they were passed through the family (not gonna lie, I almost teared up! I love seeing people who adore their pets!) and they all drank from a bottle of wine to commemorate the celebration. But what was really cool, and very “them” was they locked away in a little handmade box, a bottle of wine to be shared by just the two of them on their 5th wedding anniversary after it has aged just right. I loved that personalized touch and how they made the wedding theirs.

After the I do’s were said and the formal photos were taken (Molly’s sister is hysterical!! The sisters were so fun to photograph together and you could really tell how excited she was to see her sister be married to this wonderful man), Brad, Molly and I meandered through the vineyard and took just a couple of photos before I sent them off to celebrate with their family. And I’ve got to say, Molly you are a LIAR because you were so easy to photograph and so beautiful in the images! Your eyes just light up when you smile! :D

These two were so fun to be around and even though I only spent a couple of hours with them, I had a great time getting a glimpse into their love story. I wish you two all the best and I hope your day was just as you hoped it would be!
