Linekin Bay Resort in Boothbay Harbor Maine for Brianna & Jarid

Oh glorious Linekin Bay Resort weddings in Boothbay Maine, I love photographing up there! The woods, the water, the town just a short drive away, and the gravel road leading you to your home away from home – it’s quite possibly perfect. Then you add in Brianna, Jarid and their furry puppy Runtski and you have the best combination for a beautiful Maine wedding!

Brianna and Jarid are incredibly fun people who share many similarities but at the same time, they’re perfectly different from one another. Jarid has that completely laid-back vibe to him and I was hard pressed to find a moment where he wasn’t laughing or fully enjoying each and every moment of the day. He’s the type that people are naturally drawn to with his charisma and easygoing personality and if you’re ever with him on the dance floor (especially after he’s tossed a couple drinks back!) he will whip that mane of hair around for you like nobody’s business! Basically, he’s the type to always find a way to make you smile.

And Brianna, oh Brianna!! I’d gotten so used to her gentle quiet nature during our time together before the ceremony – her soft tears as she’d hug her grandmother, watching her admire her dad from afar as he worked on his toast on a chair overlooking the bay, and the ever so slight nerves that were visible as she prepared for the celebration. She’s an emotional one (like me) that feels as deeply as she cares and one of my favorite moments was seeing her light up when her dog Runtski arrived for photos! Which, by the way, was wrangled by the best pup watching service ever when Danielle, the owner of For the Love of Paws, was on the scene!

But the side to Briana that came out after the ceremony had passed and the I do’s had been exchanged was so wacky/crazy/wild so I was so glad I got to enjoy both aspects of personality! All the day’s stress disappeared once she had her guy with her and the two of them let loose with laughter, jokes and lots of playing with Runtski on our boat ride through the fog after their All Saints by the Sea ceremony that led us back to the docks at Linekin. And the two of them on the dance floor at the end of the night? BEST. EVER. They let loose, partied and never once were without a smile on their faces!

I absolutely loved these people and the Maine wedding they held for their friends and family. They were down to play in the fog and even came out in the rain at the end of the night without the cover of an umbrella to get some fun night shots in the cool summer air – YES! Love it when couples let loose and just enjoy the day no matter what, it means more pictures and more chances to have some unique photos to remember the day with!

Brianna + Jarid, you two are wonderful people that I am so very happy I got the chance to meet and photograph. Your day, much like yourselves, was beautiful times a million! I wish you all the best!
