Another award for my business in the WPJA 2018 v013 Photography Competition – and this one was for Elice + Matt’s Dublin New Hampshire camp Wedding!
To be chosen among so many great images makes me so incredibly happy and with judges who are New York Times & LA Times photojournalists, won awards from the National Newspaper Photographers Association and worked for the President of the White House News Photographers Association, traveled to devastated parts of the world as a photojournalist and was on the award-winning staff at The Palm Beach Post as well as winning the Women in Photojournalism award, and a Kentucky News Photographers Association’s Photographer of the Year Award and named Sports Photographer of the Year three times – these judges are serious business, and that’s not even all of their accolades.
Elice + Matt’s Dublin New Hampshire wedding at camp Wak-lo was a day full of woods, Mt Monadnock views, walks out over the lake, and loads of love. This image of Matt getting ready was taken from one of the small cabins where the side light (one of my favorite kinds of light) illuminates him as he puts on his wedding day attire.
I’m so pleased this image won a purple ribbon award and this New Hampshire wedding photographer was chosen to photograph their camp wedding. You can view my full profile page on WPJA HERE – I’ve loved being a member of this group and being rewarded again by them is so damn cool!
