Schuyler and Andres had a day intricately tied to their history starting with getting ready at her family home in the woods of Cape Elizabeth, and a ceremony at a little white chapel she always wanted to get married in that was officiated in both Spanish and English.
But it didn’t stop there! The two if them played on the rocks once it was official at the small beach she grew up visiting, and had a delicious dinner from a local Colombian restaurant that reminds Andres of the meals he used to eat back home.
While Cape Elizabeth in Maine hosted the first part of the day’s events, they then took a short trip to downtown Portland for the dining and the party with family and friends at the historical US Custom House.
They laughed and had an air of total joy at every point, they were embraced with warm hugs all day long, and they listened to toasts and words of love from their nearest and dearest. It was a joy to witness and I was honored that one of my past couples yet again sent another incredible couple my way – thank you, Brean and Joe!
Schuyler and Andres, you are such wonderful people and I’m so thankful I not only got to meet you, but that I also got to photograph your beautiful wedding day. I wish you two all the best!
