Berwick, Maine Wedding Photographer // Abby + Tim

I said before when I photographed the beautiful Abby last year that she exudes awesome, but I think that is kinda an understatement. She makes effortlessly cool seem like it is trying too hard…seriously. She’s a gorgeous girl who loves her family, her animals (look below for a few of them!), her friends and her new husband to the fullest. So when Abby asked me to photograph her wedding, as Oscar and I sat in a restaurant in Portland, Maine, I got all giddy excited and honored to have been asked to be a part of she and Tim’s day (I may or may not have gotten a little teary eyed too – shut it).

Their wedding was held on her family’s farm, and it couldn’t have been more perfect or more THEM if it wanted to. From games in the fields (axe throwing, croquet, badminton, horse shoes and yes, tug of war), to the insane amount of details she and her family made out of birch wood (the ceremony arch, flower girl baskets, fences guiding guests to the ceremony and a birch covered guestbook – what the whaaat?!) this wedding was carefully thought out from start to finish. They even set up a tent in the field and slept overnight there with any other guests who wanted to join them. LOVE IT.

Oh and the love and fun that exudes from Abby + Tim is undeniable. They are two fun, lighthearted people who enjoyed every piece of getting married to one another; they make a beautiful couple inside and out. Tim compliments her so well and has an awesome sense of humor that makes her laugh like nobody else; there wasn’t a moment where he wasn’t smiling as wide as his face would allow because he was so excited to marry his Abby.

Oscar and I had such a great time shooting this wedding together and I am so glad we got to be a small part of such an amazing day. Congratulations to Abby + Tim!!
