Setting goals is a scary thing for a couple of reasons. For one, I hate to be let down. And if it is MYSELF letting me down, I get even more sad. So when I set some secret goals this past January for my 2013 season, I was cautious yet sorta lofty in what I chose.

Update? One of my goals was to book a certain number of weddings and currently I am only ONE away from reaching that goal! I set this goal when I had one wedding booked so to get this close already and it is only June = AWESOME!!!

The second goal? Well that one’s kinda funny. This goal was me wanting to get published for my work. I wasn’t very specific and I assumed that if I were to get published, it would be in a blog. OHHHHHHH how that was reached and then some because a picture I took on set of one of my close friends, Jarrett, was chosen to accompany an article Alternative Press magazine did on him and his company Custom Tour Passes! Holy crap!

Bada bing, bada boom!

I kept this one a little under wraps (it came out in stores on June 4th) because I wanted to surprise my Dad on Father’s Day with his own issue of it (it worked) but you can still catch it if you head on down to Barnes & Noble or your local newsstand. Woo hoo!!!
