Stage Neck Inn in York Maine Wedding for Krista + Johnny

If you look up what it means to have two people light up when they see each other, I vote that a picture of Krista and Johnny should sit alongside the definition. I have a hard time thinking of a moment when together that they weren’t positively beaming at their Stage Neck Inn wedding in York Maine!

Krista herself is just a ray of sunshine all on her own; family and friends (and the children of those loved ones) all felt the contagious beams of love she emits with her beautiful smile and presence. It was clear that everyone surrounding her was not only wonderful themselves, but they couldn’t wait to celebrate a day they’d long been looking forward to.

With stories on both sides of their meeting while at Google and the adventure that took them from friends to a proposal in Maine and then a celebration just a short distance from there, it was a day where every inch of space was going to be filled with love. And the first look with her dad was so touching because at first, he didn’t understand what he was to do or why, but as soon as he saw his radiant daughter in her dress and the tears started flowing he said, “NOW I see why we did this!” And look at her, can you blame him? The same loving reaction happened quite a few times with her grandma who watched as all of the festivities unfolded.

The skies were bright blue, the clouds were fluffy, the beach by Stage Neck Inn was full of colorful bathing suits and umbrellas, and the entire day went off just perfectly with the help from one of my favorite wedding planners, Kara Patten.

When it was time to pull the couple out onto the beach after tourists had mostly headed home for evening dinners and rest from all of the sun, the two of them couldn’t help but spin around, hug each other close, and have tons and tons of laughs together. The laughter got Johnny so bad that he had to tell me to give him a second because he couldn’t stop (see photographic evidence later) – these two just enjoy one another so insanely much!

I’ve never worked at Stage Neck Inn in York but it was a place I was excited to finally visit and with the stunning views, ideal location, and the care they took of the couple, I hope I get the chance to go back.

Krista and Johnny, thank you for a wonderful day and I hope your life is always full of laughter and love…and a puppy or two :) Congratulations!
