When I think about this wedding at the The Portland Company in Portland, Maine it makes me take a deep sigh and smile hugely from my heart. These pictures show two people so in love who not only showed their earnest gratitude for each other all night, they also show how they took time to laugh together and revel in every single moment of the day. They are beautiful people, but not just because of their outward good looks, but also because of just how stunning they are inside their hearts and souls.
The day went without a hitch even though Angela was perfectly ok if the weather had decided to pour or if the temperatures soared – she and Shaun were just concerned about getting married and enjoying a party with their closest family and friends. I LOVE THAT OUTLOOK!
Thankfully the weather was perfect and maybe even a tad too chilly to have all of the windows open in The Portland Co as the sun started to go down. But once that dance floor picked up, the windows were flown open and the salty seaside air of the ocean right beneath them kept the party rocking past when we squeezed them tight at the end of the night.
Angela and Shaun, you two are so perfect for one another and I am beyond honored to have been asked to photograph your celebration. I wish you all the best!
All of the people who worked hard for this wedding were wonderful, it was a great team to be a part of and I hope I get to work with them all again soon. I can’t say enough good things about the businesses listed below!

The Portland Company could not have been a better place for us to grab some pictures.
Shaun’s niece wasn’t too sure about being without her mom, but in true Shaun and Angela fashion, they just laughed and went with it!
Such a great group of girls!
And the guys were pretty awesome too!
“But first, let me flex.” (just kidding, he didn’t say that…but he did do that on his own hahaha!)
The Maine Narrow Gauge Railroad delivered the guests to the ceremony spot on the Eastern Promenade in Portland – HOW INSANELY COOL IS THAT?!

The guests and wedding party went for a scenic ride on the Maine Narrow Gauge Railroad along the coast while we took some more pictures of the newly wedded.
Such a gentleman to help out his wife with her shoes :)
All of the decorations were done by Angela – and they were awesome! The centerpieces were put together by family members and flowers were from Little River Flowers Farm.
Shaun’s grandmothers are a huge part of his life – I was so excited when one of them got up and cut a rug with him!
