Quite a while ago I received an inquiry from a sweet as pie, Cheryl who let me know that she and her husband were going to be visiting my area for a few weddings and since it was also their 10 year anniversary, she thought it would be a great time to get some new photos of them!
Cheryl and I planned from afar discussing the ins and outs of the day and it was decided that York, Maine would be the perfect spot to meet and get some pictures. So with their super cute puppy, Wilson, on hand we met at the Nubble Lighthouse to begin our photos. There were still quite a few people enjoying the historic view but we were able to stake out a few spots and get some great photos while the weather played extremely nice with us.
After a quick outfit change, we headed down to Long Sands Beach where dogs are kings of the coast in the evening and the sand is the perfect temperature of cold beneath your feet. Between Steve and I bonding over our shared Portuguese heritage and Cheryl’s bubbly laughter, we became fast friends. Just as the sun was setting we said our goodbyes and they headed off to a wedding packed weekend.
Cheryl + Steve, it was such an honor to photograph your 10 year anniversary and I know you will have many more anniversary celebrations as the years continue! Say hi to Wilson for me!
