Becky and Torin spend almost every ounce of their free time being outdoors up in the Crawford Notch White Mountains of New Hampshire so it made perfect sense that we venture there for their engagement session!
During the rainiest July on record in lord knows how long, we held out hope that we’d be able to do their photos because not only do I have a packed summer, but their jobs also mean lots of hours and travel. Thankfully we were able to sneak in under the rain and have it hold out just long enough that the rain clouds only started to creep in as we wrapped up our time together.
Willey House in Crawford Notch New Hampshire is a gorgeous spot to spend some time together – the water with the ducks that all three of us got pumped to see, the tree-covered mountains that look like they crash right at your feet as you walk around, and the feeling that even though the road isn’t far away, you can easily dip into the woods for some quiet space.
While it was a little hot on the day of, they were true troopers and didn’t care that later it would mean doing some serious peeling off of clothing that would be glued to their skin! Looking back through these photos and I can’t even tell they were warm at all which is pretty crazy! I think it must be all that love they have for one another that just tuned out the noise and let them melt right into one another.
It was so great to meet you two before we celebrate your wedding up at Cunningham Farm in Maine which I know will be just as fun; I’m so lucky couples like you two find me!
Onto the Crawford Notch engagement photos!
