2020 weddings started in early February off the coast of New Hampshire with Amy + Clifton eloping with a few of their close family members!
The getting ready started at Wentworth By the Sea where family filled the suite to get hair done and wedding day attire completed among the bouquets of flowers Clifton arranged to have decorating the space. With a soccer game in the background, and views of the ocean outside of the windows, the party was more than ready to get the show on the road.
It was an overcast afternoon but thankfully the wind and rain held off so that everyone could come in close to the giant tree on the water’s edge of Great Island Common in New Castle New Hampshire could serve as the space where the couple started their forever. After sealing the deal with a kiss and a cheer of excitement, I took the lovebirds out on the rocks and photographed their first few moments of married life.
While they told me they were nervous about being photographed and weren’t sure how they’d feel being the center of attention, they quickly warmed up to the camera and by the end of it they were remarking just how relaxed and laidback our time was together – that’s just what I love to hear!
While they kept each other warm in the chill of February, we laughed, talked about their hopes for the future, and then soon it was time to send them on their way to dinner with the family.
Amy + Clifton, I wish you two all the best and I’m so happy I was there to photograph your love. Congratulations!
