It seems like yesterday I was over at Liz’s house photographing her newborn daughter the first few days they returned home with Anna but really she is now three (!!) and just a few days ago I was hustling over there again to get photos of their newest family member, Alex!
Alex was due to arrive at the end of May and I kept telling her that she juuuuust needed to hold out and not give birth Memorial Day weekend because I had wedding fun I was going to be doing and wouldn’t you know, the little man decided to make his grand entrance that weekend anyways haha! I sent her a text on Friday asking how she was doing and all was good, but by Friday evening it was a whole different story and baby was ready. It worked out well in the end though and I was able to go over to their house during the week to meet the new one and hang with one of my faaaaavorite little humans ever, Miss Anna!!
Alex is as cute as can be and mellow, mellow, mellow. Anna was so full of excitement and could hardly contain herself with goofy faces, laughter and lots of bouncing on the bed and Alex just snoozed through the whole thing. Anna is so pumped to be a big sister and hilariously the night before Alex was born she was CONVINCED that the big surprise she was going to have the next morning was going to be ice cream (love her!); instead it was the best gift ever for her: HER VERY OWN BABY BROTHERRRR! Liz showed me a picture of a beaming Anna hugging her baby brother early in the morning with puffy sleepy eyes and all – cutest thing ever!
Anna was on cloud nine, Alex was as chill as can be and the new parents couldn’t stop laughing at their cute family. So glad I was able to take newborn pictures of this little guy; he has one awesome family he is a part of now <3
