Southern New Hampshire Wedding Photographer for Kalene + Joel

Kalene + Joel were ready to PARTY at their southern New Hampshire wedding. From the get-go, they told me they were planning on having a dance floor to end all dance floors and their crew was ready to make sure the party stayed rolling no matter what.

They predicted perfectly! Even if I was unsuccessful at getting Joel to jump back in the pool later that night :)

The group was full of awesome bridesmaids and groomsmen who were ready to celebrate all day long. The guy’s retreat was full of cigars up on the balcony overlooking the woods while the girl’s retreat had them spread out in the main house to pop bottles of champagne. The love and support of the couple and the wild journey they’ve had through the pandemic was so wonderful to see and they didn’t miss a beat with showering the couple with excitement.

To keep things as safe as possible, they filled the grass facing the outdoor fireplace with their nearest and dearest for the ceremony including their dog Jameson who decided to bark out his opinions of the woodland creatures and a hot mic that made the whole crowd burst into laughter when Joel’s over-exuberant excitement for the “I do’s” practically blew out the speakers. Then after cocktails around the pool, photos of the couple in the backyard, everyone headed to the tent set up in the front yard for a night that was full of a dance party no one is going to forget for a while!

DJ Chad knew just what they wanted to hear all night and once he got everyone onto the dance floor, it was non-stop dancing and some of the best antics I’ve photographed in a long time!

Thankfully the dance floor was placed right next to a wide-open part of the tent to make sure airflow stayed plentiful for the vaccinated crowd but having it be so close also meant that when the late-night storm rolled in, the dance floor got more than a little soaked too!

But that didn’t stop anyone, in fact, it was just the cool down the crowd needed to carry them through the rest of the night.

Kalene + Joel (and sweet pup Jameson!) what a great party the two of you had! I loved getting to photograph the celebration and see you two extremely loved people finally get married! Though plans got moved around a bit on you, your day ended up being so wonderfully you and I know you two had the time of your lives. Congratulations and here’s to many more wild nights!
