The second I brought my camera up to my face to take the first image, Mel busted out in the greatest uncontrollable laughter which perfectly kicked off their engagement session – and the laughs definitely didn’t stop there! She is chock full of vivacious energy, has a contagious laugh down pat, and is the impromptu dancer when the mood strikes. Matt is her reserved center, the soothing calm to her vivacity. He revels in her energy, playfully encourages her, and is quick to recite the oh so perfect movie quote to fit the moment.
The two of them live down in Boston, yet love the great outdoors so when they suggested a photo session in Arnold Arboretum, where they spend many a summer evening going on walks together, I was sold. We had a great time strolling through the park (can you believe this is right in Boston? Such trees! Such wow!) and I know that their wedding this fall in the great state of New Hampshire will be nothing short of a great time.
