Lauren + Aaron’s intimate wedding can best be described as cozy. From the farmhouse they rented in Southern Maine that housed their closest friends for a week, the family embrace that took place right after the first look, the intimate ceremony on a peninsula jutting out into the foggy Atlantic, and finally the dinner in downtown Portland, Maine where they could turn in their chairs to talk to anyone in attendance – and it was so very inspired by a state they love so much, Maine.
Lauren says she fell in love with Aaron after only the second date and was already planning to meet him under the chuppah! Their love binds them so closely together and their hearts are the happiest when they are together. When deciding how they would celebrate their meeting under the chuppah, they knew they didn’t want a traditional wedding with wedding parties or first dance formalities, instead they truly just wanted to marry one another with the people they love close by their sides. And it was so perfect.
I love it when couples make their weddings a representation of who they are and feel free to remove anything that just doesn’t fit them. And while I haven’t known Aaron + Lauren that long, I can without a doubt say that every aspect of this day rings true to who they are as husband and wife.
And since we are in Maine, you never know what the weather will do! When we pulled up to the ceremony site in Kettle Cove the fog was just starting to roll in and the blocking of the sun brought a chill to the air which made it all the more cozy as the families and couples seated before them cuddled in close to one another to watch this beautiful promise of forever. It also made for some dreamy dreamy photos!
I am so happy we were a part of this day and got to capture this love story. I wish you all the best, Lauren + Aaron!

It looks like a storybook wedding. Their love is so apparent and may it continue forever. I imagine lots of tears and laughter we shared.
Thank you so much for this presentation. It made us feel as though we attended the wedding. May Aaron and Lauren enjoy life together as we have these past 67 years.
