Challenge Accepted // AKA: Get ready to be sick of me, Internet

My friend Ashley (ok fine, we met only once and I was a hot mess of excitement + nerves – but we talk fairly frequently…on the Internet) placed a challenge that she invited other photographers to join in on where for 30 Days we blog one picture. Just one picture to keep us moving, to keep us shooting and to keep us seeing the world in a fun way and not being hyper critical of ourselves as photographers who only photograph for work. Although I beg to differ that this is NOT work //30 Days? Straight? Like, I have to possibly miss Keeping Up with The Kardashians because I realize late on a Sunday night that I haven’t blogged yet? Juuuust kidding// but I also think it is high time that I do one of these challenges.

I passed on the 30 Day Blog Challenge that Tim King started last year because I was…I don’t know what I was, but I think I had a legit reason, and then I passed on his 30 Vlog Challenge //video blog for those who aren’t blog nerds// when I recorded ONE and ONLY ONE video before I gave up because I was buying a house, getting ready for my big season of photography AND planning my own wedding //more on the first and last parts of that sentence another time!// SO it was high time that I did one of these. And truth be told, I’m excited to do it! Even if it means that the world gets inundated with pictures of my man, our cats, and our exciting trips to the grocery store.

So first up, here is my man. Painting my shelf that I bought in a dark wood color….which I promptly decided that it was too dark so I said, “wouldn’t it be nice if this was WHITE instead?” Yeah, talk about indecisive. But he is painting some other shelves at the same time so he threw mine into the mix. I love him. I. Love. Him.

And I love that when I look at him, I see similarities that he has to my awesome father. Both with dark skin, dark hair, a contagious smile and a penchant for being bad dancers on purpose //and not so on purpose too//.

  1. I have so much to say and don’t know how to say it!
First off, girl, you’re cray. I re-read the post from the fix and I’m like “ME?!?! SHe is talking about ME?!?! What’s so special about meeting ME?!?!” way to make my head blow up. ;)

Second of all, I am SUPER excited to see what taking photos every day means to people, it will bring up different things in all of us, so I am excited to see what comes out.

    Third, AWESOME perspectives!

and lastly, don’t miss those Kardashians. Although they do re-run them 24/7. xo
