Nancy + Dana Veasey Memorial Park, Groveland MA // Engagement Shoot

Nancy + Dana are two of the SWEETEST people ever. Ever. They are a mixture of a little bit of shy with a whole ton of sweet goodness packed into their hearts and as soon as you talk with them, you just KNOW you are in the presence of good people. I was very excited to head to Veasey Memorial Park in Groveland, MA to photograph their engagement session but I thought that maaaaaybe they would have a tougher time getting used to the camera since they had expressed a lot of concerns about it prior….um NOPE! They were pros! Their quiet and loving personalities really shined for me and Nancy, girl you are GORGEOUS. You are going to make one hell of a beautiful bride, no doubt about that!

I love spring engagement sessions because the heat hasn’t set in for the summer yet, a lot of the trees and flowers are in bloom and the locations aren’t jam packed with vacationers and that was certainly the case with Veasey Park – we were the only ones there! It was the perfect spot for photos since it is where they will be getting married this fall so we got to meander around in the field (avoiding poison ivy), head down to the water’s edge, walk a trail and swing on the swings. There were tons of great spots for photos and I am excited to photograph them there when they are in all of their wedding day glory!
