The Preserve at Chocorua New Hampshire Wedding Photographers : Jen + Dave

Jen and Dave’s wedding at The Preserve at Chocorua went off without a hitch! Their laid back approach to the day, along with the warm and homey feeling that The Preserve is so well known for meant that even a groomsman who broke his hand the night before (on a slip and slide – no less!) was no match for the celebrating that was going to happen!

They knew the location was going to be perfect for the type of day that wanted to have, and it definitely was. The ceremony overlooking the lush tree line, the photos of the couple with Mt. Chocorua and the rest of the White Mountains standing tall in the distance, the high-five line as they entered the reception in the barn and the dance party that kept the floor rocking made for a night everyone will remember.

Their love for one another was such a joy to be a part of and the circle of friends they invited into their wedding party fit perfectly with the people they are: loving, caring, always having one another’s backs, and all around good people. I loved getting to be around them all and even I felt like one of the crew – even with their parents.

OH! And I can’t forget to mention that Jen’s mom and dad are also huge lovers of their two pugs who are clearly adored by their human parents! Her dad was so excited to pop them into the barn real quick during a lull at the reception and the amount of love and kisses those puppies got will have them wagging their tiny tails for days! Animal lovers, like Jen and Dave and their families are, are some of my favorite people in the world – without a doubt.

You just know someone is good people when they show compassion for our furry companions – and even the not so furry ones like the dragonfly that Dave carefully spent a good deal of time rescuing so he could send it off into the day before the wedding. My heart melts!

Jen + Dave, I wish you all the best and I’m so happy I got to be a part of your crew for the day!
