New Castle New Hampshire Wedding Photographer / Brianna + John

At Brianna + John’s New Castle, New Hampshire wedding Oscar and I found ourselves continually asking, “What can’t Brianna do?!” After only being in Brianna’s presence for one day, I can say that I’m almost positive the list is longer than this but here’s what we discovered in 8 hours:

• She can sew and to prove that she made the tuxes their DOGS wore in the wedding
• She can dance, and dance well which we saw during their beautiful choreographed dance at their reception
• She has style – from her gown, to her details, to her hair style and to the dresses she chose for her bridesmaids – which had POCKETS (best ever)
• She is strong physically which is well documented in her eleventy-thousand 5ks, 10ks, half-marathons, marathons, obstacle races…and then there’s the skiing, snorkeling, kayaking too
• She is strong in her heart too. Countless stories about her love, her ability to shower those around her with care, and then the ability to say “I hope it doesn’t rain on my wedding day, but if it does, we’ll make the best out of it!”
• She went to Berklee College of Music. Enough said.
• One of the instruments she can play (yes, there is more than one) is the bagpipes. More on that later.
• She chose one hell of a wonderful person to stand by her side forever and ever when she said yes to John O!

Woo!

And John is definitely not one to be overlooked either! He was exactly the kind of person you want to see happy, and not only did we enjoy getting to know him while he and the guys got ready, Oscar loved bonding with him over his music choice to get ready to: metal. Love it! Oscar was instantly feeling right at home with him.

It also helped that they have two of the sweetest dogs who were not only with us as he got ready, but they also were in the wedding party wearing those aforementioned fly outfits Brianna made. People who have a clear love for their furry children will always have a place in my heart.

These two are such kind and gentle people and although they were nervous to be the center of attention, their love made the moments have so much soul and I was so happy when they went out along the docks for photos with the dark blue sea behind them.

These two were meant for one another and even though the day had it’s hiccups, they knew that no matter what, getting married to one another was the one thing this day needed in order for it to be a success. And that it was!

Brianna + John O, I am so glad I met you both, you’re wonderful people and I had a great time photographing your story. I wish you all the best!

Jaques Pasteries knocked it out of the park with this! The detail was so incredible!

As a nod to their joint Irish heritage, they weren’t just announced into their wedding reception any old way, they were announced in with a bagpipe band. Could it get any cooler?

ANNNNND IT JUST GOT COOLER. Brianna started off the reception by playing some songs with the band. At her own wedding. In her gown. Being as bad ass as can be.

When a dress is made for spinning in, you must spin!
