These two have always lived near the sea with their first place together being on the tiny island of New Castle, New Hampshire right outside of Portsmouth. They spent time walking the shores, riding bikes along the grassy paths, and then he proposed in nearby Prescott Park after convincing her she needed to lean way over on the dock to see something in the water – when actually he just wanted her to find the note he taped to the other side asking her to be with him forever. Naturally, she said yes!
Since then they’ve bonded over their love of trying new beers, snuggling their cat, drinking coffee along the water, and lots of lazy weekend mornings. And funny enough, we can’t stop running into each other when out in Portsmouth! I feel like I never see my couples when I’m out and about, but these two keep popping up and I love it! They’re sweet, kind, a little shy, and oh so great looking together!
Naturally we took to the water for some photos, and after an unseasonably cold start to Spring, we lucked out with super sunny skies, deep blue ocean waters and a temperature that was perfect for holding each other close. This August they’re getting married at the Seacoast Science Center (also on the water – of course!) and I can’t wait to photograph these two when they say I do!
