Jackson New Hampshire Intimate Wedding for Shoshana + Tylor

Shoshana + Tylor wanted an intimate wedding up in the White Mountains in Jackson, New Hampshire. It was a weekday celebration they planned with their immediate family gathering in close under the chuppah alongside the fast-paced river tumbling down from the mountains.

While Tylor got ready in a hotel room with his dad and brother, Shoshana and her mom were in a separate room directly above them getting her jewelry secured and keeping the nerves at bay.

Shoshana fought back the tears that were juuuuust on the brink of her eyes at times and then her mom would do something that is typical mom and she’d start laughing at the comments until she forgot the tears had been just around the corner. Their relationship reminds me a lot of my own mom with their playful banter and the comfort and love they have with one another and I’m sure it was just the company Shoshana needed before heading off to marry her guy!

The ceremony was held inside a flower-lined circle on the grass which pulled everyone in close so their softly spoken words could be heard over the rushing water and with the little ones almost outnumbering adults in the family group, there were a few funny kid moments that are always bound to happen when little ones are around!

After smashing the glass and a rousing shout of “Mazel Tov!” they were wrapped up in hugs and congratulations from their excited loved ones and shortly thereafter, Shoshana, Tylor and I jumped in their car and took the short ride up to Jackson Falls for photos.

They walked out to the rocks, sat alongside the water, and danced in the woods while bright beams of the early afternoon sun cut through the shade and gave us a whole mix of light to seal the day in pictures with.

Shoshana + Tylor, I wish you all the very best. I hope the day was just as you hoped because to me, it was perfect!
