Dover, New Hampshire High School Senior Photographer // Zoë

Zoë contacted me wanting a vintage inspired shoot – she loves Rita Hayworth, Veronica Lake, Audrey Hepburn – and told me she wanted the coy, fun, flirtatious look those amazing ladies showcased back in the day – and from the get go, I was pumped! From just the sound of it and the ideas we began throwing back and forth, I couldn’t wait to finally meet this girl who was already sounding so damn cool! A small sampling: clothing? she has a TON of retro dresses she collects from vintage stores all over. Hair? her mom is not only a hair stylist but she also knows how to do the classic styles like victory rolls in her own hair. Music? she’s in love with some of the greats like Ella Fitzgerald, Glenn Miller and Tom Waits – ummm awesome!

So when the day came and I sat on a bench waiting for her to arrive, imagine my pure photographer excitement when this stunning red headed, stylishly dressed, smiley, and //everythingelsecool// girl greeted me! So we got the show on the road and she knocked it out of the park. She played around for the camera, laughed, gave me the best model faces and knew just how to pose so her pictures would turn out fun and playful like the women she idolizes so much.

We had a great time taking her photos all over Dover and she was a joy to be around from start to finish. Zoë, I hope you enjoy your photos as much as I do; you are wonderfully talented, girl!
